Dongan-gu

Jungang Park

Jungang Park contains various landscaping trees, amenities (cafeteria and rest areas), sports facilities (tennis and badminton courts, multi-purpose playground, gateball field, X-games arena, etc.) over a large space of 119,843 m², and especially, the various kinds of flowers and trees planted in line with a four-season theme (spring, summer, autumn, and winter garden) create beautiful scenery, contributing to the emotional cultivation of citizens and the creation of pleasant urban environment.

In addition, a pergola where you can take the weight off your feet and a walking trail provide shades with trees, and the LED lights of landscaped facilities at night offer a spectacularly beautiful view, attracting many visitors.

Budget flea markets, open to the public on Saturdays and Sundays on the car-free streets, offer a different experience than having a quiet repose in the park.

There are Anyang City Hall and Anyang Mail Center near Jungang Park, and it is convenient to use the underground parking lot of Migwan Square.

Jayu Park

Jayu Park has been created for citizens to enjoy leisure activities along with nature in the forest areas of Pyeongchon New Town.

There park comprises facilities such as a children's transportation park, children's playground, artificial turf soccer field, lawn bowling field, mineral spring, and Pyeongchon Art Hall, attracting many citizens of various ages.

Budget flea markets, open to the public on Saturdays and Sundays on the car-free streets, offer a different experience than having a quiet repose in the park.

In addition to being able to hike within the downtown area, there is the Pyeongchon Art Hall in the park for visitors to enjoy various cultural and artistic performances.

Hakun Park

Hakun Park is a connected to the banks of the Hakuicheon Stream, an ecological stream that crosses the city center, and a 1.4-kilometer walking trail and cherry blossom road that has been created along the Hakuicheon Stream as well as a walking trail inside the park attract many people to visit the place to stroll and refresh their minds.

In addition, the park contains a football field and sports facilities, serving as a multi-purpose resting area within the city.

At Hakun Park, visitors can enjoy the walking trails of the Hakuicheon Stream and various sports activities.

Hogye Park

As a nature-friendly park that makes the best use of its beautiful natural scenery, Hogye Park is largely visited by citizens who desire to use various facilities in the park as well as hiking in the forest.

Major facilities include tennis and badminton courts, and an indoor gateball field. Also, Maebong Plaza in the park has been created as a themed plaza that displays the lifetime of a hawk flying towards the sky in the lower part of the Seoul Ring Expressway, which is seen as a concrete eyesore, offering a variety of attractions.

Hogye Park offers various sports equipment installed along the hiking trail, and there are sports facilities located nearby for all ages, such as tennis and badminton courts, and a gateball field, offering various leisure activities.

Pyeongchon Park

Pyeongchon Park is a neighborhood park located on the north side of City Hall and west side of Pyeongchon Library, which is used by citizens as a place for repose, exercise, play, and interaction with nature.

There are miscellaneous sports facilities, such as basketball, badminton and kick volleyball courts.

Ungok Park

Ungok Park includes a low-lying urban forest located on the intersection in front of the Sports Complex, providing a place for residents to exercise, communicate, interact, play and experience nature.

Location: In the vicinity of Bisan-dong, Dongan-gu, Anyang-si, Gyeonggi-do

There are miscellaneous sports facilities, such as badminton and basketball courts, and a gateball field.

Manan-gu

Byeongmokan Park

This place was named Byeongmokan as the village entrance was narrow but the village itself runs deep and wide. It was also called Dwittimi (Hudumi-dong) because of its location behind Surisan Mountain. Park visitors can enjoy a great view of water flowing through the stream, and stop by the physical fitness facilities, the all-season flower garden, and the campgrounds.

Samdeok Park

This park used to accommodate Samdeok Paper, which produced printing papers, but as the company was relocated, its site was donated to Anyang City to be reborn as a park for the citizens. A chimney-shaped memorial tower has been created to honor this donation. The park comprises facilities such as playground, picnic plaza, floor fountain and fitness area.

Anyang Art Park

Anyang Art Park is the new name for Anyang Recreation Area.

In addition to artificial waterfall, outdoor stage, and exhibition hall, a plaza, walking trail, and lighting facility have been created in the park among others, and 52 artworks of famous domestic and foreign artists have been installed in various spots of the park, including observatory, one-pyeong information center, sky attic, fish tear fountain, etc. as part of the first Anyang public art project on an international level in connection with park construction project.

There are a number of well-developed hiking trails in the vicinity of Anyang Art Park beloved by the citizens of the capital area, and traditional temples such as Anyangsa Temple and Yeombulam Temple. There are also historical artifacts such as the flagpole supports of Jungchosa site (Treasure No. 4), a bell carved on the rock at Seoksu-dong (Gyeonggi-do Tangible Cultural Property No. 92), a tortoise-shaped pedestal at Anyansa Temple (Gyeonggi-do Tangible Cultural Property No. 93), and a three storied stone pagoda of Jungchosa site (Gyeonggi-do Tangible Cultural Property No. 164), which allow visitors to experience a vivid sense of the past.
