  Kwanak Mountain
The name ''Kwanak'' means that the mountain looks like a crown (Kwan). This mountain was called Kumkang or Sokumkang in Kyonggi Province in ancient times. Kwanak Mountain, 629m high and 3,673§µ wide, in located in Anyang, Seoul and Kwacheon. The geographical features of the mountain include great rocks and peaks of fantastic shape rising high in the sky, and the various kinds of scenary that changes from season to season is tremendous. It is connected to Samsung Mountain  
  Suri Mountain
Suri Mountain, with its 474m of height and 3,099§µ of width, lies in Anyang, Kunpo and Ansan. It has no steep cliffs and its forest is dense. There are lots of wild plants, herbs and chestnut trees in this mountain  
  Samsung Mountain
This mountain acquired the name ''Samsung'' because three monks of high virtue, including Wonhyo, Yuisang, and Yunpil of the Unified Silla Age, led an ascetic life in this mountain according to legend. Its height is 455.8m and lies in Anyang and Seoul.  ''Anyangsa'' is located in this mountain, from which the name of ''Anyang'' came  
  Anyangsa

It was established by Wangkun, the founder of Koryo, and is the origin of the name of Anyang.
The current temple was established in 1950.
There is a turtle-shaped base (tangible cultural asset No. 93 of Kyonggi Province) inside the temple.

 

  
  Sammaksa
Sammaksa was established by three monks of high virtue, including Wonhyo, Yuisang, and Yunpil of the Unified Silla Age. Inside and in the surroundings of the temple, there are: the Three Rock Cliff Buddha (No. 94), Three-story Stone Pagoda (No. 112), and Historic Monument (No. 125). The Genital Stone of Male & Female (No. 3 of folk material) and the Name Registration Book (cultural asset material No. 60) are also found there. This mountain and its surrounding was one of four famous temples in the suburbs of Seoul during the Chosun Dynasty.  
  Bulsungsa
This temple was established by Saint Yuisang in the Unified Silla period. In the beginning of 1970''s, it was reconstructed as it currently is. The sarira stupa (pagoda for relics of Buddha) was constructed by Buddhists on November 16. 1986. The name of ''Bulsung'' comes from ''nature of Budda (Bulsung)'' indicating a basic secret of the Tripitaka Koreana.  
  Yeombulam

Yeombul (Buddhist invocation) means to chant the name of Buddha or Amitabha by praying in the name and charity of Buddha, from which the name Yeombu came. It is said that Anhungsa was established by Wangkun, the founder of Koryo, and changed its name to Yeombulam later. Yeombulam seemed to be a famous temple, taking into consideration that it was recorded in geographic papers or local papers published during the Chosun Dynasty.

  
  Manghaeam

The name Manghaeam came from a small temple where one can look out at the sea. One can see not only the Yellow Sea but also the whole city of Anyang on a clear day. It seems that this place was regarded as a historical spot in the period of King Taejong.

  
  Mangwoelam
''Mangwoelam'' means that one only sees the moon because the surroundings are all blocked. This temple seems to have been established before the Chosun Dynasty.  
  Sangbulam
The name ''Sangbulam'' means that it is located on the high peak of a mountain. It was established by Hong Sun-kwan in March 1918.  
  Banwoelam
It is said this temple was established by Naong, monk of high virtue at the end of Koryo. It is called ''Banwoelam'' since it is located in a place where you can only see half of the sun and the moon, because you cannot see the sun until at twelve o''clock in the afternoon and the moon not until at twelve o''clock at night due to its heavy forest.  
  Yonghwasa
When Maitreya (stone image of Buddha) shows up in the world in 567 billion years and becomes Buddha by attaining Buddhahood under the Yonghwa tree, it is called ''Yonghwa World'', from which the name ''Yonghwasa'' came. It is said that this used to be Anyang Mirukdang located in front of the Anyang Station of today. It was relocated in the current place in 1983.
